Dat and four of her daughters have been sponsored locally by Emil and Margaret Alpha of Augusta Township. But her daughter and son-in-law, and two uncles and a grandmother, all arriving Wednesday, had to have sponsors here before they could leave Pennsylvania, where they were located when they fled Saigon earlier this year. An Article Aug. 18 in The News told of the family's efforts to be together, and members of six Ypsilanti area churches responded, offering sponsorships that made the reunion possible.
