Traffic Safety Efforts Recognized: Ann Arbor Patrolman Jan P. Suomala (left), president of the Michigan chapter of the National Police Officers Association, presents to Harold B. Coolman of the Ann Arbor Eastern Kiwanis Club a certificate of merit from the association for the local club's efforts in the traffic safety field. Police Lt. Howard R. Zeck (second from right), who heads a driver-improvement programs for which the Eastern Kiwanis donated a slide projector and screen, and Gerald Lutz, a member of the Kiwanis Club's traffic safety committee, look on. The sign in the background which provides current driving conditions for motorists was also donated to the Police Department by the Kiwanis Club.
