Dimes Support Respirator Center - Among the many facets of the fight against polio supported by this month's March of Dimes is the Respirator Center at University Hospital, where youngsters like 19-month-old Bobby Snyder of Hillsdale are treated. Bobby was brought to the center when only six weeks old and kept in an iron lung for eight months. He is now being taught to stand, and it is hoped he may learn to walk, although he must wear a heavy corset with a neck extension and leg braces. Looking on are Mrs. Douglas Gregory, head of the county chapter of the National Foundation for Infantile Paralysis; Mrs. Robert S. Dunham, chairman of the University division of the March of Dimes; Dr. William W. Nichols; and Nurse Rosemary Murray.
