HAVING A HAPPY - Glen A. Freeman turned 80 on Friday and some Dixboro students decided to throw him a party. But they weren't just any group of students; they're students at the school that bears his name, and a couple of the students were pretty special to Freeman. Above, Jenny Connell and Kevin Freeman, grandchildren of Freeman, served up the cake to their granddad during the festivities. The school, part of the Ann Arbor School District, was named after Freeman in 1974 to honor the years of work he has done with youth of the Dixboro area.
