Lights! Camera! Action! If you've always wanted to sit in the director's chair and make a movie, now's your chance! But let's start small. Smaller. Let's start really tiny!
The Ann Arbor District Library is once again hosting the Tiny Film Festival for movies one minute or less. Film and edit your movie and then upload it from July 8 through August 11, 2023.
2023 TINY FILM FESTIVAL GUIDELINES
• Films must be submitted by August 11, 2023.
• Winners will be emailed on August 16, 2023.
• Films must be 60 seconds or less.
• Films can be abstract, documentaries, tiny stories, or anything at all.
• All films must be rated G and suitable for all ages.
• Submit films in mp4 or MOV format.
2023 JUDGING AND PRIZES
• Films will be judged by AADL staff in three age groups: Grades 5 and under, Grades 6 to 12, and Adults.
• Prizes will be awarded in each age group for Highest Honors, Second Place, and Honorable Mention.
• Winners will be announced at the Summer Game Game Over Gala on August 27.
• All submissions may be shown publicly at the Library.
