Description
NEW CONCEPT: This common space, called a centrum, is one of three such areas in the new T. C. Abbot school opened yesterday. The centrums may be used for large group instruction, arts and crafts, music, or for community activities. Each centrum may be divided into two separate rooms by closing a folding partition (partially closed in this photograph). Architects for the new school are Perkins & Will of Chicago.
