NEW WATER SOFTENING AND PURIFICATION PLANT: Despite heavy summer rains, which have put the work about six weeks behind schedule, construction is about 15 per cent completed on Ann Arbor's new plant for softening and purifying its water supply on Sunset Rd. The above photograph only half reveals the work already completed, for a large part of the construction done to date has been underground.
