With the foundation and steel beams emplaced, exterior brick work is rapidly enclosing the structure, which is "T" -shaped and 271x358 feet. The 18-classroom school will house 540 kindergarten through eight graders. The deKoning firm is also building a similar southwest school west of the end of Coronado Dr. Steel framing on this structure is expected to be up in the next few days, with completion coming by July, 1957. This latter building is said to be a month ahead of schedule. Architect Charles W. Lane of Ann Arbor headed blueprinting of the $1,622,582 worth of new grade schools.
