Heads Board: Raymond Hutzel, veteran member of the Ann Arbor board of education, was elevated to the presidency of the board last night by a unanimous vote. In thanking his colleagues in making him president, he confessed that "This is no bed of roses, but I am going to ask you for your support." "Let's try to overlook petty bickering," he said, "and do something for the school system. After all, it's our children we have to think about." Courtney A. Maulbetsch was unanimously re-elected secretary of the board.
