An evening in sumrner in the Pollitt plantation home in the Mississippi Delta. The action is continuous, with two intermissions.
NOTE: Mr. Williams wrote two distinct versions of the Third Act, the second of which was used for the Broadway production. We present here the Third Act as originally written.

ESTELLE GINN ... a University of Michigan student in the Speech Dept., appeared in Play Production's "Ah, Wilderness." She attended Cranbrook Summer Drama School and is appearing with the Ann Arbor Civic Theatre for the first time.
TOM LEITH ... has acted in many CT plays in the past several years including leads in this year's "Death o£ a Salesman" and "Julius Caesar". He also was on stage in Drama Season's "View From a Bridge".
BARBARA SANDBERG . . . new to Civic Theatre this year, appeared in "Death of a Salesman"; she is a speech grad from the University of Indiana. Her husband, Don, was just appointed to the Civic Theatre Board.
MA YME ·wALKER . . . also new to us this year, was last seen in our "Visit to a Small Planet". She played at Hunter Hills Theatre this past summer.
BILL HICKMAN ... was in "RX" and "Guys and Dolls" as well as several productions for the Ypsilanti Players. Frequently active backstage, he is a current Civic Theatre Board member.
J. HENRY OWENS ... head of the Foreign Language Dept. at Eastern Michigan College, has appeared in CT's "Bus Stop" and "Hatful of Rain". Also has played with the DAC and the Ypsilanti Players.
JOHN RAE ... current Civic Theatre President, was last seen this season in "Visit to a Small Planet" and "Julius Caesar". This is his eighth CT appearance.
DAVE SELLARDS ... a long-time favorite, and a past C-T President, was last seen in "Mia Mine."
BILL KUEHN ... appearing [or the first time on our stage, is the regular Master of Ceremonies for the !\loose Prospect Night and is a former State Supreme Governor of the Loyal Order of the Moose.
NANCY RAE ... a cheerleader at Slawson Junior High, making her stage debut, is a daughter of our president.
