Reuben G. Guenther
Reuben G. Guenther, 27, died last night at his home at 118 Kenwood Ave., after a brief illness of pneumonia. He was born June 20, 1909, in Lodi, the son of George and Rose Kern Guenther. He was married Nov. 9, 1933, to Ruth Wheeler of Webster township. He had resided in Ann Arbor for nine years, coming here from Lodi, and was employed by the Artificial Ice Co.
He is survived by the widow; his mother, Mrs. Rose Guenther of Ann Arbor; three brothers, Albert, Robert and Elmer of Ann Arbor; five sisters, Mrs. Oscar Staebler, Mrs. Oscar Kollwehr, Mrs. Edwin Renz and Mrs. Oscar Renz of Ann Arbor and Mrs. Robert Lambarth of Lodi; and several nephews and nieces.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 Friday morning at the Muehlig chapel with Rev. Theodore R. Schmale officiating. Burial will be in Bethlehem cemetery. Friends may call at the chapel.
