George Green, 84 years old, member of a pioneer Ann Arbor family, died last night at the family home on Glazier Way Rd., after an illness of more than one month.
He was born Feb. 15, 1852, on the same farm, son of the late George and Rebecca Clark Green, and was married to Carrie Schlee also of Ann Arbor township Sept. 1, 1879. Survivors are the widow; a son, R. A. Green who lives at home; one daughter, Mrs. Christian Frey of Washtenaw Rd.; and four grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 3 o'clock Saturday afternoon in Muehlig chapel with Rev. L. L. Finch officiating. Burial will be in Forest Hill cemetery. Friends may call at Muehlig chapel.
