Nichols Scores Fall In 20-8 Victory
Michigan’s wrestling team turned home yesterday after successful eastern invasion. The Wolverine matmen took the measure of the New York A. C. in a dual meet Saturday night, 20 to 8, after defeating Penn State, 16 to 12.
Tom Weidig dropped a fall and Andy Sawyer was decisioned in the two lightest weights for the only matches lost to the New Yorkers. Don Nichols of Michigan secured a fall over Charley Powers of New York. The other bouts were won by decisions. It was the third straight dual meet victory for Michigan.
