Henry Miller, 86, of Earhart Rd., Northfield township, died early this morning in Dr. Neil Gates' private hospital after a brief illness. He was born Sept. 19, 1855, and was a lifelong resident of Washtenaw county. He had lived in Northfield for many years, and for many years had operated a blacksmith's shop at Emery.
He was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church of Northfield. He was married Feb. 22, 1887, to Wilhelmina Meyer of Ann Arbor. They observed their golden wedding anniversary five years ago.
Surviving are his widow; two sons, Fred L. of Northfield and Emery J. of Port Huron; 10 grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
