MANCHESTER - Mrs. Anna C. Uphaus, 81 years old, died at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Clarence Coon, 2546 Logan Rd., this morning. She was born in Adrian Aug. 14, 1862. On Nov. 3, 1881, she married Fred Uphaus who preceded her in death on Nov. 1, 1939.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Coon, and Mrs. C. E. Baker, Jackson; four sons, Bert, Sharon township; Ernest, Detroit; Floyd, Jackson, and Russell Uphaus, Manchester; two sisters, Mrs. John Rauschenberger and Mrs. Emma Logan, both of Manchester; a brother, George Coffberger, also of Manchester; 11 grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.
Funeral services have not been arranged.
