The engagement of Mary Hummon, 704 Hill St., to Pfc. Edward Rankin, ASTP student at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tenn., has been announced by Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Hummon of Hudson, parents of the bride-elect. Pfc. Rankin, who is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Rankin of Salisbury, Md., was a senior in the University of Michigan College of Engineering when he entered the service. No date has been set for the wedding.
