DEATH COMES TO FRANK G. LEMBLE
Former Business Man Ill Two Years
Frank G. Lemble, 51, former Ann Arbor businessman, died yesterday afternoon at his home, 524 S. Forest Ave., after an illness of two years. He was born Sept. 4, 1894, in Ann Arbor, son of Alphonse and Adele Lemble, and was a lifelong resident of the city.
Operator of the Ann Arbor Produce Co. for a number of years, Mr. Lemble was a veteran of World War I and a member of St. Thomas Catholic Church. He was married to Flora Ann Gilchrist of Ann Arbor, who preceded him in death Feb. 6, 1920. On Sept. 2, 1922, he married Mrs. Janet Gilchrist Jaqua, the sister of his first wife.
Mr. Lemble is survived by his widow; three sons, Rodney G. of the United States Army who returned Monday night from Tokyo on an emergency furlough; George F., and Thomas R., both of Ann Arbor and recently discharged from the Army; one grandson, David John Lemble, and two sisters, Mrs. Mary Leibech of Rockford, Ill., and Mrs. Louis Meere of Detroit.
Funeral services will be at 9 o’clock Saturday morning at St. Thomas Catholic Church, with burial at Forest Hill Cemetery. Friends may call at the Muehlig chapel where the Rosary will be recited at 8 o’clock this evening.
