STOCKBRIDGE - Mrs. Helen Reeves, one of the last pioneer women of Stockbridge township, died Friday morning at Rowe Memorial hospital here. She was 91 years old.
She was born Helen Gaylord in 1855 in Stockbridge, where she lived all her life.
Mrs. Reeves is survived by a son, Wilmot Gaylord Reeves of Stockbridge; a daughter, Mrs. Erma Gillette of Paso Robles, Calif.; a granddaughter, Mrs. Barbara McLaughlin of Whitmore Lake; and by two great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at the Milner funeral home in Stockbridge at 3 o'clock Monday afternoon. Burial will take place in Stockbridge cemetery.
