MISSOURI GIRL IS MARRIED TO PETER BUHRMAN

After a two-week honeymoon at Myrtle Beach, S. C., Mr. and Mrs. Peter Buhrman, who were married Monday night in Webster Groves, Mo., will make their home in Detroit.

The bride, the former Dorothy Louise Binder, is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William C. Binder of Webster Groves. Mr. Buhrman’s parents are Mr. and Mrs. G. L. Buhrman of Geddes Ave.

The candlelight ceremony was held in the Webster Groves Evangelical and Reformed Church, Rev. G. O. Martensen reading the marriage service.

Chooses Organdy

White swiss organdy was chosen by the bride for her wedding gown, which was fashioned with an embroidered bertha and a long train. Her fingertip veil of illusion was caught to a lace cape and she carried white stock centered by white orchids. Mr. Binder gave his daughter in marriage.

Mrs. Walter J. Gross, sister of the bride, was matron of honor, wearing white faille and carrying a bouquet of white stock.

The bridesmaids, Miss Faye Clover of Webster Groves, Mrs. Gerald L. Buhrman of Cheboygan, sister-in-law of the bridegroom, Miss Florence Deichman, and Miss Mary Louise Binder, a cousin of the bride of Webster Groves also wore white faille gowns. They carried lavender stock bouquets.

Leslie Diane Hale was flower girl and David Hanser the ring bearer. Both are of Webster Groves.

Brother Assists

Gerald L. Buhrman of Cheboygan was best man for his brother. The ushers were Olds Buhrman of Ann Arbor, also a brother of the bridegroom, William C. Binder, jr., of Webster Groves, brother of the bride, Frederick Matthaei, Peter Trosper, and James W. Whitney, all of Ann Arbor.

The reception followed at the home of the bride’s parents.

The bride attended William Woods College at Fulton, Mo., and the University of Missouri. She is a member of Delta Gamma sorority.

Mr. Buhrman was graduated from Williams College, Williamstown, Mass., and is now a medical student at Wayne University, Detroit. He is a member of Nu Sigma Nu fraternity.
