Genevieve R. Spiess, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Spiess of Pauline Blvd., was united in marriage to Frederick A. Rowe, son of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Rowe of S. State St., Saturday afternoon in the Bethlehem Evangelical and Reformed Church parlors.
Rev. Theodore Schmale heard the couple’s vows.
Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Betke, brother-in-law and sister of the bride, attended the couple.
The bride wore a beige suit with an orchid corsage. Mrs. Betke was attired in a gray suit with a corsage of Johanna Hill roses.
The newlyweds will live at 807 Barton Dr.
The bride is employed at the Audio-Visual Education Center of the University Extension Service. Mr. Rowe is with A & L Battery & Electric Service.
