Raymond Brooks Services
Funeral services for Raymond P. Brooks, 73, of 518 Packard St., will be held at 7:30 tomorrow night in the Muehlig Chapel, with Dr. Leonard A. Parr officiating.
Mr. Brooks had been a resident of Ann Arbor since 1917. He had been in the real estate business here until his retirement five years ago.
Born on March 10, 1976, in Lennon, Mich., a son of William and Julia Brooks, he married Jessie Reed of Vernon in 1898. She died May 7, 1944.
On Nov. 1, 1945, he married Mrs. Allie Root of Ann Arbor.
Surviving, besides his wife, are a daughter, Mrs. Fay Putnam, of Ann Arbor; four brothers, Fred Brooks of Corunna, William Brooks of Owosso, and Joseph Brooks and Louis Brooks of Durand; a sister, Mrs. Marjorie Patchel of Hawthorne, Calif.; one grand-daughter and two great-grandsons.
After the services here, additional services will be held at 2 o’clock Wednesday afternoon in the Vernon Methodist Church, Vernon. Burial will be in the Vernon Cemetery.
