The scheduled arraignment of Ivan Love, 34, on charges that he murdered Mrs. Zella McConnell, 37, of 1675 Lexington Rd., was postponed again this morning.

Love has twice been scheduled to appear in Municipal Court. Both times the hearing has been postponed because of the absence of Municipal Judge Francis O’Brien from the city.

Prosecutor Douglas K. Reading said the murder suspect may be arraigned this afternoon if Judge O’Brien suddenly returns to Ann Arbor.

Judge O’Brien was originally scheduled to return today.

Reading said there had been “no further progress” in the questioning of Love on the Friday night slaying of Mrs. McConnell.

She was found dead in her home, shot ten times with a .22 caliber rifle. Love, who surrendered to officers two hours later, has denied pulling the trigger in the shooting. He was a roomer at the house.
