Pleasant Lake Youth Succumbs To Illness
Douglas George MacDougall, 13, son of Mr. and Mrs. George A. MacDougall of Pleasant Lake, died this morning at University Hospital after an illness of 10 weeks.
He was born in Ann Arbor Aug. 19, 1936, and attended local schools until three years ago when the family moved to Pleasant Lake. He was a seventh grade student at Manchester School when he was taken ill.
He was a member of Boy Scout Troop 26 of Manchester.
Besides his parents, he is survived by a sister, Joan, at home and his maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Perrine of Ann Arbor.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 Monday afternoon at the Muehlig Chapel, with burial at Forest Hill Cemetery. Friends may call at the Chapel.
