Jean Carl, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Francis Carl of Orchard Ave., was married Monday in Northampton, Mass., to George Cohen in a simple wedding service.
Mrs. Cohen is a graduate of Ann Arbor High School and the University. She received her master’s and doctor’s degrees in psychology from Iowa University and is now an assistant professor of psychology at Smith College.
Her husband is an associate professor of art at Smith. He is a graduate of Worcester Museum Art School, the University of Vermont and of the Institute of Design in Chicago, Ill.
The couple will spend the summer in Cape Cod.
