Chelsea Woman, 96, Succumbs At Home
CHELSEA - Miss Susan M. Sopp, 96, died yesterday at the local Methodist Home where she had lived since Feb. 15, 1932.
Miss Sopp was born May 22, 1856, in Gratiot county, a daughter of Benjamin and Jane Woodcock. Before coming to Chelsea she had lived in Pontiac.
Surviving are one sister, Mrs. Mary Rickett of Howell and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock Friday afternoon at the Schnackenberg Funeral Home, with Rev. William Cardwell Prout officiating. Burial will be in Lakewood Cemetery.
