Hammett Named Officer Of State Architect Unit
Ralph W. Hammett of 1425 Pontiac Rd. was elected secretary of the Michigan Society of Architects at the annual meeting of the group in Detroit,
1959 Linn C. Smith of Detroit was chosen president.
Smith, who is 35, is the youngest president-elect in the society's 39year history. After receiving his early education at Mt. Morris, he was graduated from the University College of Architecture and De. sign in 1942. He was awarded the George G. Booth scholarship for travel and study in Europe.
