SALINE- Funeral services for Pfc. Earl Otto Lindemann, 24, U. S. Marine Corps, who was killed in action Oct. 26, 1952, in the front lines in Korea, will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at the Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church here.
Pfc. Lindemann was a son of Mr. and Mrs. Gustave W. Lindemann of 5375 Zeeb Rd., in Lodi township.
The body will arrive tomorrow at the Lockwood Funeral Home and friends may call after 7 o'clock tomorrow night. It will lie in state at the church from Monday noon to the hour of services. Rev. H. L. Engel will officiate. Burial will be at Oakwood Cemetery.
Pfc. Lindemann was inducted into the Marine Corps Dec. 6, 1951, and took his basic training at Paris Island, S. C. He was stationed successively at Camp Le Jeune, N. C., and Camp Pendleton, Calif. He went to the front lines in Korea on Oct. 4, 1952. Prior to induction he had worked on his father's farm at the Zeeb Rd. address.
Surviving, besides the parents, are three brothers, Robert and Gustave A. Lindemann of Lodi township and Paul Lindemann of Ann Arbor; and three sisters, Mrs. Esther Mamarow of Lodi township and Ruth and Louise Lindemann of Ann Arbor.
