Minnie L. Day
YPSILANTI - Miss Minnie Louise Day, 73, of 528 Harriet St., a long-time resident of Ypsilanti, died Saturday night at University Hospital, Ann Arbor, after two weeks' illness.
She was born Jan. 23, 1881, at Saline, a daughter of Daniel and Anna Henderson Day. She was a member of the Brown Chapel AME Church at Ypsilanti.
Survivors are a brother, Arthur Day of Saline; a nephew, Frank Williams of Ypsilanti; three nieces, Mrs. Herbert James of Saline, Mrs. Reuben Moseley of Detroit and Mrs. William Brazier of New York City.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Brown Chapel AME church, the Rev. Thomas H. Smith officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Saline. Friends may call at Lucille's Funeral Home.
