Former Pinckney Resident Succumbs
PINCKNEY ̶ Mrs. Anna Ahrens, 89, a former Pinckney resident, died Saturday at the Miley Nursing Home, Saginaw.
Mrs. Ahrens was born Sept. 17, 1867, and was married in 1917 to Fred Ahrens, who died in 1933. She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Mae Daller of Pinckney, and Mrs. Bonita Orr of Ypsilanti; and one son, Conley Ahrens of Wisconsin.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Swarthout Funeral Home with the Rev. Keith Ruegsegger officiating. Burial will be in Pinckney Cemetery.
