Officer Resigns; New One Added Ann Arbor Police Chief Casper M. Enkemann today announced the resignation of a patrolman and the appointment to a patrolman post of another man. Officer Claude T. Creswell, 28, of 116 Hill St., has submitted his resignation effective Oct. 21. Creswell, who joined the local department on Nov. 1, 1956, has accepted a position with the Ben. dix Corp. and will be as - signed there to a research project, Chief Enkemann noted. Robert 0. Bradtke, 22, of 101 Lincoln St., Ypsilanti, goes Bradtke on duty today as a patrolman. Bradtke is a graduate of Bethany High School in Mankato, Minn., and attended Hamilton Business College in Ypsilanti. He formerly worked for the Marsh Office Supply Co. in Ypsilanti and the Chevrolet plant of General Motors at Ypsilanti. He is married. Patrolman Bradtke recently completed a four-week in-service training program set up for new officers. Creswell's resignation and Bradtke's appointment brings the total number of officers on duty with the local department 'to 80 men, one below the designated complement.
