Paul R. Seitz, Lifelong Resident Of County Dies
SALINE - Paul R. Seitz, 69, a carpenter and a lifelong resident of Washtenaw county, died early Sunday at the home of his son, John Seitz of 410 Bemis Rd., following a long illness.
Mr. Seitz had farmed until 1934, and then became a carpenter.
He was born on December 16, 1888, in York township, a son of Henry and Katherine Werner Seitz. On June 29, 1920, he married Olive Frey in Scio township. She died on Nov. 29, 1927.
Mr. Seitz was a member of the Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church of Saline.
He is survived by two sons, John and Ormond of Saline; a daughter, Mrs. Lorrin Jedele of Ann Arbor; two brothers, David and Emanuel, both of Ann Arbor; three sisters,Mrs. Floyd Wirth, Mrs. Clara Laubengayer and Mrs. Carl Sweet, all of Ann Arbor; all of Ann Arbor; and 10 grandchildren.
A daughter, Catherine preceded him in death. Seven brothers also preceded him in death.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Lockwood Funeral Home here, with the Rev. H.L. Engel officiating. Burial will be on Oakwood Cemetery.
