Butcher Here 13 Years Dies At 64
Frank Kornexl, 64, a butcher with the Peters Sausage Co. for 13 years, died Sunday afternoon in a local hospital after a three-month illness. He lived at 1810 Franklin Blvd.
He was born Aug 17, 1897, in Germany. He came to Ann Arbor in 1922 and had lived here since.
He was a member of the local Moose Lodge. On Aug. 28, 1930, he married Dorothy Swarthout of Chelsea. She survives.
Other survivors are four sons of Ann Arbor, Frank J., Gerald S., John F., and Daniel L., six daughters, Mrs. Joseph Brown and Mrs. Dale Passow, Mrs. Donald Clauson and Mrs. Harold Myles and Miss Lillian C. Kornexl, all of Ann Arbor, and Mrs. Glen Barnard of Brighton; a brother, Louis Kornexl of Shepherd, Mich.; and several nephews and nieces.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Muehlig Chapel with the Rev. L. D. Gordon officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery. Friends may call at the chapel.
