DEXTER—Suzanne Steeb and Thomas Franklin Spiess exchanged wedding vows Saturday evening in a ceremony in St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church, Ann Arbor, performed by the Rev. Robert MacDonald.
The former Miss Steeb, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Roy A. Steeb of Dexter, chose a whisper taffeta gown with modified sweetheart neckline, Chantilly lace decoration and a bustle bow.
A crown of seed pearls and Alencon lace accented with sequins held her silk illusion veil of fingertip-length.
Mr. Spiess is the son of Mrs. Harlan Campbell of Dexter and the late Mr. Campbell.
The bride asked her sister, Miss Carolyn Steeb of Dexter to be her maid of honor. The bridesmaids were Mrs. Max Darrow of Dexter, Miss Carol Beeman of Ann Arbor and Miss Doris Camp of Ann Arbor.
Roy Radtke of Dexter was the best man for the ceremony. The ushers were Max Darrow of Dexter, Fred Fauser of Ft. McPherson, Ga., and Richard Knapp of Dexter.
Michael Steeb of Ann Arbor was the ringbearer and Laurie McKillen of Dexter served as flower girl.
After a reception in the VFW Memorial Home, Ann Arbor, the couple left for a Florida honeymoon. They will live at 4845 Portage Lake Rd., Dexter.
The bride was graduated from University High School and the Mercy School of Nursing of Detroit, Ann Arbor Unit. She is employed at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital.
Mr. Spiess, a graduate of Dexter High School, is employed by R. T. Brokaw, Inc., Ann Arbor.
