Mrs. E. Gertrude Staebler, 58, of 322 Gralake Ave. died this morning at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital after three months' illness.
Born in Ann Arbor township on Jan. 18, 1904, she was the daughter of William H. and Edith Thayer Campbell. She married G. Harold Staebler on Sept. 4, 1929.
Prior to her marriage she worked for the former Staebler Oil Co. as a secretary. She was a graduate of Ann Arbor High School.
Mrs. Staebler was a member of the First Methodist Church of Ann Arbor, and a member of the Abigail Circle, WSCS, of the church.
In addition to her husband, survivors include her father, William H. Campbell of Ann Arbor; two aunts, Mrs. Edward Zeeb of Ann Arbor, and Mrs. Clay Altman of Seattle, Wash.; an uncle, Harold Thayer of North Star; and several cousins.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday from the Muehlig Chapel, with the Rev. L. Burlin Main officiating. Burial will be in Bethlehem Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Muehlig Chapel.
Memorial contributions may be made to the local chapter of the American Cancer Society.
