Under the sponsorship of the Ann Arbor Elks Lodge No. 325, the Clyde Beatty-Cole Bros. Circus will be appearing in Ann Arbor at Packard and Carpenter Rds. for two shows Friday, Aug. 12. Among featured attractions of the three-ringed circus is Capt. Dan Hoover (above), a wild animal trainer who was the protege of the late Clyde Beatty.
