A usually static piece of sculpture at the U-M Art Museum came alive Wednesday when a herd of second graders from Mt. Clemens’ L’Anse Cruse schools found it to be excellent for climbing, hiding and other play purposes. The students, on a field trip to the university’s Natural History Museum, were marooned in Ann Arbor for a time while their broken-down school bus was repaired.
