Colvin, Mrs. Thomas S., Sr. (Grace C. H.)

Age 87, passed away Monday, October 9, 1978, at the University Hospital after a two week illness. She was born August 4, 1891 in Jeffersonville, Indiana, the daughter of Frederick and Cynthia Reisterer Helmrich. Mrs. Colvin had been a resident of Ann Arbor since 1919. She was married to Mr. Colvin Sept. 21, 1919; he died Jan. 31, 1946. Mrs. Colvin was a charter member of the Northside Community Church and had taught Sunday School at the church for many years. She was a member of the Leisinger Chapter of the WCTU and she was formerly active and had been an officer of the Church Women United. Mrs. Colvin had been a partner with her husband and son, Thomas S. Jr., in the Ann Arbor Bedding Co. from 1919 to 1956.
