Bahnmiller, Oscar S.
Age 86, died Friday, Dec. 29, 1978, at Saline
Community Hospital. He was born on
April 3,1892, in Sharon Twp., the son or
Veit and Katherine Wellhoff Bahnmiller.
On Nov. 14,1916 he married Matie Seitz;
she preceded him in death on April 17,
1976. Mr. Bahnmiller had been an em ployee
of the Washtenaw County Road
Commission for 30 years, retiring as a
foreman on Jan. 1, 1961. He was a member of
Emanuel United Church of Christ.
He is survived by: one son, Gerald of Sa-
line; two daughters, Mrs. Cady (Marjorie)
Hall of Laguna Beach, Calif., and
Mrs. Elaine Kimbrell of Leslie; three
grandchildren ; one sister, Mrs. Augusta
Harris of Wisconsin. He was preceded in
death by three brothers and two sisters.
Memorial contrihutions may be made to
Emanuel Church. The funeral service
will be held Tuesday at l p.m., at the
Jenter Funeral Home, with Rev. Robert
B. Macfarlane officiating. Burial will fol-
low in Oak Grove Cemetery in Chelsea.
The family will receive friends at the fu-
neral home from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Sun-
day and Monday.
