Book on court to be topic for professor

Beverley Pooley, professor of law and director of the Law Library at the University of Michigan, will be the features speaker at the Tuesday meeting of “Booked for Lunch” at the Ann Arbor Public Library.

Pooley will review “The Brethren,” the recently-published report on the behind-the-scenes operation of the U.S. Supreme Court by Bob Woodward and Scott Armstrong.

The meeting will be held in the Meeting Room of the Main Library beginning at 12:10 p.m. Free coffee and tea will be provided. The program is free and open to all.

The Friends of the Library Book Shop will be open from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on the day of the program. Special sale items will include sets and science-fiction magazines.
