Age 73, died suddenly Tuesday July 14, 1981 at University Hospital. He born January 19, 1908 in Traverse City, Michigan a son of Edward and Ann O'Rafferty Ulberg. He had been a resident of Ann Arbor for the past 60 years. He was married to Margaret Fischer on December 4, 1932. Hew was a member of St. Thomas Catholic Church and had been an Usher at the Church. He was a former member of the Ann Arbor City Council and had been a salesman for Braham Laboratories of Cleveland, Ohio. He is survived by his wife, three sons, John of Ann Arbor, Thomas of Orlando, Florida, Mark of Ann Arbor; one daughter, Ann Blanchard of Traverse City, nine grandchildren; one sister, Agnes Ulberg of Traverse City. He was preceded in death by one brother, John Ulberg of Petoskey. Mass of Resurrection will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday at St. Thomas Catholic Church with the Rev. Fr. Robert Lunsford officiating. Burial will be made in St. Thomas Cemetery. Friends may call at the Muehlig Chapel from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. on Thursday and the Rosary will b recited at the Chapel on 7:00 p.m. Thursday.
