Three foreign cars were tipped over sometime late Friday or early Saturday, according to Ypsilanti police reports. A Mazda was found lying on its side about 2:45 a.m. on the 1200 block of Elbridge Place, and officers tipped it right side up again with the permission of the owner, police said. About 5:30 a.m., officers found a Renault also tipped on its side on the 10 block of N. Wallace Street and again righted the vehicle with the permission of the owner. At about 6:45 a.m., passing officers noticed a white Volkswagen with Ohio license plates on its side on the 300 block of North Adams Street and tipped it right side up again, leaving one of the officer's cards on the windshield, police said. The incidents are still under investigation.
