RUN IN THE SUN — The Sunday sun silhouettes participants in the 11th annual Briarwood Run, an event which drew 2,700 competitors and featured 5,10- and 20-kilometer races. The runners, who raced under clear and sunny skies, coursed through sections of Eisenhower Parkway, Scio-Church Road, Main Street, and Ellsworth Road. Sponsored by The University of Michigan Medical Center, Med-Sport, M-Care and Briarwood Mall, the run brings money to the Galens Medical Society. See Page B3 for a story about the event.
