UFOs: Is Michigan a Prime Landing Site for Travelers From Other Worlds?
How do you say, "Say-leen?" Charles Silva appealed in a soft Spanish accent to his audience, "Saline," answered several voices on the other side of the footlights at the Marquis Theatre in Northville.
With that question of pronounciation answered, Silva calmly explained that a base for extraterrestrial craft may be located on the outskirts of the upscale Washtenaw County town just five miles southwest of Ann Arbor. Silva is "David," the psychic and spiritual mentor to actress Shirley MacLaine, in her best-selling book, "Out on a Limb."
In fact, Silva explained in a later interview with The Ann Arbor News, extraterrestrials tend to gravitate to the Great Lakes region. Not that gravity, literally, has anything to do with it. Some who believe that unidentified flying objects (UFOs) are craft from another world say water may be the attraction that brings alien sojourners to Michigan.
