Littlejohn, Carl N.

Age 83, passed away Thursday, December 19, 1996 at his home. He was born January 5, 1913 in Oblong, IL the son of John F. and Ada (Alexander) Littlejohn. On December 31, 1937, Carl married Opal Bennett. Carl was a graduate of Casey High School and served in the C.C.C. in Oregon before moving to Ann Arbor in 1935. He served in the U.S. Navy as a cook and retired from Hoover Ball & Bearing after 44 years. Survivors include his wife, Opal; two daughters, Diana of San Francisco, and Daria of Dearborn Heights; grandchildren; one brother, John of Boca Raton; and several nieces and nephews. Carl was preceded in death by two sisters, Edna and Anne; and by two brothers, Ralph and Elmer. Cremation has taken place. At Carl's request no services will be held. Memorial contributions may be made to a charity for children. Arrangements by Muehlig Chapel.
