Wheat, William N.
Ann Arbor, MI
Age 69, died Sunday, December 22, 1996 at the V.A. Medical Center following a brief illness. He was born May 14, 1927 in Glen Forks, KY, a son of Lafayette F. and Zettie (Morgan) Wheat. During WWII, Mr. Wheat served in the U.S. Navy. He had been employed by the U.M. as a custodial supervisor. He was later employed by the Old German Restaurant until his retirement. Survivors include shi wife, Ida; one son, Neil E. Ormsby of Ann Arbor; one granddaughter, Alice Ormsby of Jackson; two great-grandchildren, Rachael and Donny Uphas of Jackson; one brother, Lynn (Virginia) Wheat of Howell; two sisters, Opal Passow and Ruby Landrum, both of Adrian; several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Friday, December 27, 1996 at the Muehlig Chapel with Pastor Timothy Wise officiating. Burial will follow at Washtenong Memorial Park. Family will receive friends at the MUEHLIG CHAPEL Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.
