Age 92, passed away Saturday, December 19, 1998 after a long life. Louise was born February 3, 1906 in Boyne City, MI, the daughter of Albert and Edith (Smollett) Rolston. She attended Boyne City Schools and attended the Episcopal Church. She moved to Ann Arbor in the early 1900s where she met Carl Gustafson, where they got married. She was also a member of St. Andrew's Episcopal Church Ladies Guild for 25 years. She is survived by six nephews and two nieces, Nancy Turner, Mary Root, Gary and Jim Odbert, Ronald, Mike, Don and William Rolston. She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Gustafson; two brothers, Raymond and Howard Rolston and one sister, Norma Odbert. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, December 23, 1998 at 2:30 p.m. at MUEHLIG FUNERAL CHAPEL with Rev. Nieman officiating. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery, Ann Arbor. The family will receive friends Monday 7-9 p.m. and Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the funeral chapel. For those who wish, contributions may be made to St. Andrew's Episcopal Church Ladies Guild in memory of Mrs. Gustafson.
