Stanfield, Clyde "Pete"
Whitmore Lake, MI
Age 81, passed away in his home peacefully on January 22, 2002, with his family by his side. Pete served in the U.S. Army. He was employed as an officer for the Washtenaw County Police Department, and also worked for Thomson McCully Ashphalt. He was an active outdoorsman. He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Edna "Midge"; four children, Terry (Chuck) Kimmica, Lynn Stanfield, Pete Stanfield, and Kris (Robert) Walker; 11 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Laura; two brothers; one sister; and a nephew, Donny Mayers. Per his wishes, cremation has taken place. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of Washtenaw, 806 Airport Rd., Ann Arbor, MI 48108 or to the Humane Society of Huron Valley, 3100 Cherry Hill Rd., Ann Arbor, MI 48105.
