Robert J. Wisler, age 82, died Wednesday, September 22, 2004 at the University of Michigan Hospital. He was born July 17, 1922 in Ann Arbor, MI the son of Chester & Inez (Foster) Wisler. He was united in marriage to Nancy Fritz. Robert retired from University of Michigan, and for many years he and his wife were emergency foster parents. He is survived by his wife Nancy; children John F. (Pamela) Wisler of Iron Mountain, Terry Ann of Ann Arbor, Debra L. (Richard) Byrne of Highlands Ranch, CO and Maria (Jason M.) Margolias; eight grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Friday, September 24, 2004 at 11:00 a.m. at the MUEHLIG FUNERAL CHAPEL with Rev. Gregory Smith officiating. Burial will follow at Bethlehem Cemetery. The family will receive visitors at the funeral home on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services. Those wishing may make memorial contributions to the Catholic Social Services.
