Passed away May 31, 2009 at 89 years of age. Homer was a graduate of Friends University Wichita, KS and the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, MI. Homer was a resident of Ann Arbor for 31 years he worked at the Ann Arbor Public Library from his days as a student until his retirement as director of the Library. Homer and his wife Lois were members of Ann Arbor Friends Meeting. He was proceeded in death by Lois, his wife of 59 years and son David age 51. Homer is survived by a Daughter Deborah (Phillip) Griglio, Son Roger (Cheryl), Daughter-in-law Darla; six grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. In lieu of flowers contributions in Homer's memory may be made to Friends of the Ann Arbor District Library, P.O. Box 7350 Ann Arbor, MI 48107. Memorial service Saturday June 6, 10:30 a.m. at Campus Chapel 1236 Washtenaw Court, Ann Arbor 734-668-7421. Municipal parking available on Forest St
