A Young Man's Fancy ~ Washtenaw Dairy

A Young Man's Fancy ~ Washtenaw Dairy image
Description

Mike Koeller recalls: My first job, other than a paper route, was at Washtenaw Dairy in the summer of '61. Doug Raab was a manager then and a thoroughly nice guy. The other manager was Albie Curtis, also a good guy. The owner was Don Laubengayer. One of the most enduring memories was of summer nights dipping cones, patrons backed up to the windows, and my dipping hand turning into a virtual claw from the cold.
